This quarter we will have our first ever Student-led Conferences. In this kind of conference, the teacher is not involved in the actual conversation but will just be a facilitator in the background. It is your child who will share with you all that he/she has learned so far based on the 3rd Qtr assessment results. One of the goals of SLCs is to encourage students to accept personal responsibility for their learning. All test papers, audio, video, picture and 3D products will be available in the classroom for viewing in addition to those presented in the exhibit at the lobby. Feel free to ask your child about the lessons and the assessments.
The SLC is on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.There will be NO classes on the said date. Your schedule is written in the Communication Notebook. Please come with your child.
We hope that this will be another opportunity for you to get to know and appreciate your child more, and to see them in a different setting.
